I love buying new clothes (like anyone else) but sometimes the best pieces are discovered are vintage. Vintage pieces have so much character to them and I love how each piece had another life before purchasing. I found this floral maxi dress hanging front centered in the back of a store and I completely fell in love with it. This style is not typically what I go for since you can only wear it so many different ways. I love the delicate button detailing in the front and the ribbon going down the bodice. The extra lace trim adds a romantic touch to the dress. Today I decided to keep the look pretty feminine by pairing it with some comfy cream wedges and a suede jacket. To edge it up, next time I will wear some combat boots and a leather jacket. I love the juxtaposition between feminine dress and some edgy boots. A great way to tie both of them together. The store, Hamlet's Vintage is located in the West Village filled with vintage finds for men and women. Hamlet himself, hand selects pieces for you to try and is so helpful. Wonderful hospitality and I can't wait to shop there again.
