During my cross country road trip we stayed in Wyoming to check out Yellowstone National Park. I really wanted to go to a hot spring so we ended up driving two hours away to Granite Hot Springs. A natural hot springs south of Jackson that is perfect for relaxation. We were there in the summer so it wasn't as hot as we would have liked it since the snow was melting. During the winter it is only accessible by country skiing, dog sledding, or snowmobiles so make sure to leave plenty of time. We ended up making it a day trip but you can also camp at the location. They have restrooms and picnic tables on site. Make sure to bring cash because you have to pay admission to get into the hot springs. I would highly recommend visiting during the winter because the hot springs can reach up to 112 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm already excited to discover another hot springs in the United States!
