Another cherry blossom season for the books! This will be my third time visiting the Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG) and it never gets old. When you enter the BBG, you feel like you completely escaped NYC and entered a fairytale setting. No traffic noises and no sight of tall industrial buildings in the distance. It is truly one of my favorite places in Brooklyn.
This May I went with my dear friend, Shannon, an amazing photographer and an American Sign Language interpreter. I've known Shannon since 7th grade and she's come a long way with her photography skills. We've been collaborating with each other since we were both 16 years old and each photo shoot gets better and better. Last year, I wore a neutral look from this previous post but this time I wanted to change things up. Although this multi-color print is quite bold, I decided to go for it anyway because I fell in love with the silhouette and I was running out of time to find a dress. Keep scrolling to find my top picks of floral dresses this Spring and Summer.
Shannon and I decided that this will be an annual visit to see all the cherry blossoms at the BBG. But this time we will go a couple weeks earlier so we can see the trees in full bloom. Learn from us and don't wait too late! Check out their up-to-date calendar so you don't miss out next year!
Have you guys seen the cherry blossoms in full bloom before? It doesn't have to be in NYC but maybe in another city or even country?! Comment below!
