You guys asked for it, so here it is, a swimsuit haul from yours truly. This is the first time I filmed any haul so I hope you guys enjoy and make sure to check out my IGTV.
I typically shop for bathing suits in January and February and then again in August when everything is on sale. I look for bathing suits that are double lined, adjustable straps, and lightly padded. High-waisted bathings are some of my favorite styles since it hides my food baby while showing less skin.
This place is the OG of bikinis. I’ve been shopping at Pacsun since high school and love their selection of bathing suits. Most of their bikinis are less than $100 and they always have sales going on. I recently bought this sporty, one shoulder bikini and love the bright color (exact here and here). My favorite from last year is this yellow one (similar here and here). It is perfect for any active water activity. Whether that is kayaking, wake boarding, or waterfall jumping. You know the bathing suits that are sometimes only good for taking pictures (over the shoulder tops ) or sunbathing (strapless tops) but this one isn’t that. You always need that one bathing suit that has you covered! Since lavender has been the “it” color last year and is going strong this year, I decided to pick up this bralette (black option here) and some cheeky string bottoms (exact here). Ribbed bathing suits are some of my favorites because it shows less wear and tear especially around the butt area. Even though I love a good bikini, I always have a black one piece in my closet (similar here). For some reason, one pieces are so flattering on every body type and they are some how sexier than bikinis at least in my opinion.
Aerie is known for body positivity and no retouching on their images. It is always a breath of fresh air when a brand is inclusive and celebrates stretch marks since we all have them. This baby pink and white bathing suit is so cute and feminine. I love the scallop detailing around the neckline and the coverage on my behind (similar here and here). Their bathing suits make you feel confident and comfortable at any moment.
Who knew Topshop sells bikinis? Based on my first experience, their bikinis do feel cheaper compared to some of the other brands that I mentioned. But I guess that’s what you get for the price. Even though the style is not my go-to, I really like the color since it is similar to my skin tone (exact here and here). I’ll be wearing this bathing suit under sheer cover-ups and crochet pieces.
The marketplace for trendy clothing and accessories. Last summer, I was looking for a blue and white bikini for my trip to Greece and this one from Tularosa was actually what I was looking for (exact here and here). Cheeky, high-rise bottoms and the perfect shade of blue. Revolve also has some amazing one-pieces as well!
I discovered this brand through Instagram and their products feel high quality. These black, high-waisted bottoms are a staple in my bathing suit collection (exact here). This top that I bought to go with it, can be tied a few different ways (exact here). How fun is that! Some of their other bathing suits that I like is this leopard one and this mango color one. I’m already dreaming about my next tropical vacation.
The most expensive brand on my list but it is absolutely worth it. This bikini is too cute not to have and the quality is on point (exact here and here). Did I mention that it comes in other colors and patterns (here and here). If you are looking to splurge on a bathing suit, look no further! You can also shop this brand at Revolve, Shopbop, Intermix, and much more!
Handmade with yarn out of 100% cotton, these crochet pieces are a dream! I love a good bathing suit with a belt. So this one checks off what I’m looking for (exact here). If you are looking for bikinis with belts make sure to check out this one and this one. They also have some cute crochet cover-ups. Keep in mine these are very delicate so they need proper care so make sure to check out their website for more info.
The secret is out, now you guys know where I shop for bathing suits. I hope this helps you find the right one (or many) this season. Comment below your favorite brand to shop for bathing suits.
