Skip the red lipstick this year and try some bright pink eyeshadow for Valentine's Day. This might look tricky to achieve but I only used two eyeshadow colors. Keep on reading to see how I achieved this wearable pink eyeshadow look.
Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions: This palette is perfect for the person who normally wears neutral eyeshadows but wants to try something different. A compact palette filled with vibrant matte and shimmer colors. I've already created numerous looks with this one palette and I must say, it is worth it. I used the top left matte pink eyeshadow all over the crease of my eyes (picture above).
Loreal 24 HR Infallible Eyeshadow (557 Glistening Garnet): These individual eyeshadows really pack a punch for the price you pay. You can either use your pointer finger or a brush to apply onto the eyelids. It gives a nice shimmer to the eyes but if you want to amp it up, use a setting spray before applying to the eyelids. I focused this eyeshadow on the center of my eyelids to give an extra sparkle.
Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeliner (002 Sparkling Black): It's rare for me to not tightline my eyes so instead of using my typical black or brown eyeliner, I opt for a glitter black eyeliner. It glides on very easily and stays on all day. A great way to add an extra sparkle to the eyes without it being too much.
KISS Eyelashes (Shy): I recently discovered these at my local drugstore and I must say, I love them. I like fake eyelashes that give volume but don't look too unnatural on my eye shape. I cut these a little bit just so they can fit my eyes but I really enjoy the look of them.
Maybelline Matte Lipstick (650 Nude Embrace): I've had this lipstick for quite awhile but it is the perfect nude for my skin tone. Since I didn't want a matte look to my lips, I applied a clear gloss on top. Glosses are dominating the make-up industry and I am so for it.
Elf Heart Defensor highlighter Palette (Coffee and Cream): I just bought this highlighter last week and I am so in love with it. You can create 3 different highlighter looks (coffee, cream, or a combination of both). For my Valentine's Day look, I decided to go for cream in my inner tear ducts, cheekbones, and the bridge of my nose.
So are you going to try out this look or go for your basic red lips? Either look will look beautiful for Valentine's Day! If you guys want to see what I applied to my face (foundation, concealer, blush etc.) make sure to comment below or on my IG for a future blog post.
